what shop do you go to?

i noticed many of the advertised shops advertised in this site are from the bay area, which is cool. which shop do you usually go to? im picky about who i take my car to and im lookin for the best deals and a shop that knows their stuff about WRXs. one too many times, have i heard about a shop that does bad work and rips people off on parts!

im sure everyone here has a preference. i dont expect anyone to say negative things, but if you do have negative feedback... send me a pm. hehe

thanks in advance, ya'll.

Well I pm'd you. There have only been 2 shops I have never heard anything bad about, a couple more I've only heard a couple comlaints about.

But to anyone else who might post in this thread, please refrain from negatory comments in public, thanks. (I know I have been guilty of that in the past)

some of those recommendations are outdated. just curious to see anything has changed since then. i noticed gruppe-s has some competitive pricing so far...

Car Info: WRBP 2015 WRX Premium/CVT
for dealership work: Santa Cruz Subaru
For car sales: Santa Cruz Subaru ( ask for Dan Levine or Bruce)
For Aftermarket parts locally: Gruppe-S, MPJ, SubyDude
For aftermarket parts online: World One Performance
For Tuning: Gruppe-S or EQ Tuning
For part installation and maintenance: LIC Motorsports, Gruppe-S

I think that about covers it.

Auto HQ is also a good place to take your car for tune up and maintenance stuff, I only went there once for my 45K service and they tried to sell me an intake cleaning service, I said no, they did it anyways free of charge.
That was the only thing I didn't really like about the service. But otherwise they were great.

Edit:
I am only commenting and suggesting places that I have personally been a customer of and dealt with, I've had great service from everywhere.
