Well i got thinking about this because of where i drive everyday, and so I started thinking more about how some roads can get you into the driving mood or just tempt you to do the nasty..

so just post the road section and location or the whole drive you take!
For me its 92 to 280 south through the tunnel. that turn and hearing my suby roar is amazing!!
hopefully the thread will take off!

Hwy 88 over the pass
Del Puerto Canyon Rd to Mines Rd
Hwy 9 (I concur)
Hwy 17 (In the early 90's before all the stupid traffic and cops)
The J2 (Tesla/S Corral Hallow)
Hwy 58 from Button Willow to 101
and of course, Mt Hammy.....As long as it's a low traffic day
I came over 88 from Minden to Stockton during the thunder storms we had a week or so ago and it was awesome to watch the thunder clouds build right in front of me as I crested the pass. I had the stereo cranked to my favorite playlist and I only came up on three cars to pass. It was almost spiritual.....HaHa
Cheers

Hmmmmm, I wonder if my flip camera thread inspired this thread?
For me, Mt Hamilton road, all of it. The back side of the Hamilton, Mines road is also very epic. Two of the best roads in CA, and some of the best in the nation. There are some roads off 9 that I don't know the names of, but they are really nice too, not as great as hamilton or mines, but great none the less.
They repaved Mt Hamilton so its as smooth as ice! Only half way up though.
I'll have to bust out the flip camera and set it up on the front bumper and another camera behind the passenger wheel facing forward and do hamilton road like that! Have multiple angles and stuff. It would be REALLY cool to have a car to folllow up that sort of road! Get a really heavily modded car in front of me, then me follow filming the whole time. That would be SICK! Any volunteers?

Oh! Another idea! Mount a third camera to the back bumper facing backwards and have an EVO tailing me... So a modded subie in front, and me in the middle filming, and a nice evo in the rear tailing, all on film!
Dude! I hella wanna do that!

There are a bunch of awesome road down south that I ride on my motorcycle, low traffic, clean paved roads, beautiful scenery, hard rights, lefts, sweepers, esses, long straights and elevation changes. Only drawback is the damn animals, I'm not just talking about the random rodents crossing the road, but kamakazi birds, cows crossing the road and even vultures eating the dead rodents on the road.

-Oshaughnessy Blvd in SF. Its a nice stretch of road with lots of curves.
-Alemany exit off 280N has a wide 3 lane stretch of road and a S-turn at the end.
-Broadway tunnel in Chinatown.
