Its GREMLINS! Seriously though, 3 screws/rivets missing that attach the wing panels to the ribs/spars out of perhaps 20 that hold that panel in isn't going to cause a problem. If I know boeing, the planes are designed with so much conservatism that usually it is maintenance that decides what breaks and what doesn't. the only thing that would worry me is that one loose rivet.

Lastly, wow... vortex generators.. Must've had some aerodynamics issues when they put on those HUGE winglets...

Great stuff.
Movie bit was a remake of the classic Shatner episode.

geez, kids these days don't realize nearly all the "new" movies were done a half century ago....probably think there was only one Godzilla movie and King Kong was done first in 2006...

It must be. I never saw that episode. I was just young enough that I didn't get into the Twilight Zone reruns.

The ones I have seen were pretty good, though. I'd venture to guess that the movie was better than the original episode.

I'm not exactly a kid and I do know that most movies have already been done. Thanks.

No, the original is black and white, and it was an episode with Shatner

They re-did the episode in color for the movie which had John Lithgow in it, and it was in color.

I did tell the drink lady after the flight.
me: You know about 400 miles back we started dropping nuts and bolts out of the wing.
drink lady : Huh.. WTF
me: Yeah Have a nice day and a good next flight.

Ding.... Your now free to be scattered across the country

No need to cause panic.. Lady next to me was like 7 shades of white lighter since we took off.

Plus the pilot was busy cleaning up his party.
Didnt want to bother him.

actually, boeing put those vertical winglets to save fuel...

somehow those things were saving airlines tons and tons of fuel.

dont forget, that the biggest thing to come out of that TZ movie was that in one of the segments, vic morrow and 2 child actors were killed when a helicopter lost control and the the rotor blades decapited them...

this led to the director being arrested, john landis.

this also led to more children protection laws in the movie biz...

sad story all together.
