wasnt there a 700hp tc @ the dbsport race off or something(later disqualified by broken axle), ken gushi drives the tc but with rwd conversion in formula d. i dont have anything against tc...good alternative to civic.
wasn't it supposed to take place of the Celica in Toyota's line up? my only problem with the Scions is that they were fuel-savers until T-yota dropped the 2.4L and lots of kids jumped on the ricer bandwagon; so now they're irritating and still not that fast.

The Scion TC is a good racing platform

In my opinion FWD isn't so bad when it comes to road racing. Look at the SCCA World Challenge series for Touring Class. FWD cars are dominating.

The TC is a fairly well balanced chassis to begin with and feels fairly quick and nimble even in stock form. I'm not too surprised they're proving to be a good base for racing.
And FWD isn't necessarily slow... its just not as fun to drive
