Mine still has the stock downpipe, but it could be something like this. Noises have a funny way of transmitting themselves around a car.

This weekend, I'll remove the wheels and brake calipers to see if anything has changed since last time. The noise really sounds like a scrape every rev of the wheel when driving and the steering is turned. My current thought is that the brake dust shield may have picked up some debris or may have got bent and is dragging. At its 120k service, the mechanic could hear the sound, checked wheel bearings, brakes etc. but couldn't see anything wrong which was why I thought the diff might be doing something nasty and transmitting the noise out down the driveshaft?

Let's see...

5th gear thrust bearing replaced as well as the clutch under warranty.
AC went around 100k
Driver's side wheel bearing @ 135k
Struts are shot, but I haven't replaced them.
3 windshields.

Can't remember anything else besides regular maint stuff.

On my 06wrx tr, my A/C button is sticking, still have not takin it in yet, winshield, cracked at 15k, and paint chips easy. But other than that not bad so far at 23k miles.

at about 115 miles... 115 miles lol the passenger side rear window would not roll up on the wagon.

131K total, 101K of them tuned to 15-17 PSI, I lost the #3 cylinder coil pack(next to the turbo). Now waiting for a new one.
Compression is still 150psi on all 4 cylinders.
