So basically that makes it Zoeb and his compatriots

You know what is funny, that Trey being the youngest here, makes the most sense. That is very good.
Trey, it is about rules first, my feelings second.
I am going to lift Dan's ban tonight. I cannot go against my morals and ban when I said I never would.
I appologize to all the members for doing something I said I never would. Ban. I will wait to hear Dan's response. Depending on that, I will deal with this situation accordingly. But not with Ban.
However, remember all, RULES ARE RULES. Don't dis rules. Don't dis other members. Don't dis mods and try not to dis me.
There are other ways I can deal with those people that will do that. It is worse than ban. Trust me.
I also wish, that OG members would stick up for THEIR site and stop people when they are out of line.
In any event, I am still not happy with this situation, as my hands are tied on what I can and cannot do. I continue on to beleive in human goodwill and mutual respect.
RESPEK!
P.S. In the future, if anyone does something stupid, I will just ban Zoeb.

Just to clarify. I am not just letting this one slide. I am just lifting the ban. This is still on. I will not let people run over this site's rules and me personally.

What I hope and strive for is for all i-Club members to moderate themselves and their own posts. For the vast majority of the membership, they do this very well and without any sort of reminders. Still, we're not machines and some of us will have a lapse in judgement once in a while. That's understandable and acceptable, IMO. Nobody likes a stick waved at them, constantly reminding them of what the rules are. Alex understands this. Therefore, the responsibility falls on us as members to use good judgement when we post. It's not about being politically correct or kissing Alex's *** - it's about courtesy to our fellow members and not assuming that what we post will always be taken the same way by everyone that reads it.
i-Club has been set up by Alex with a pretty relaxed set of rules. He doesn't ask any of us to swear a blood oath of allegiance to him or any of the mods. It's just a place where we can all spend some time hanging out on the boards and discuss our cars and other OT social stuff.
I think it's unfortunate that any member has to be banned. It's a loss of a member from our community. Every member is important to this club. Banning should be a last resort when all other attempts have failed. A ban results when, for some reason, communication has broken down. In Dan's case, I don't think it was for lack of trying on Alex's part but somehow the intent of his message wasn't conveyed the way he wanted, to the people he intended it for. I'm not happy about what happened to Dan. As I said, communication broke down and this is the result. I don't know how this will all play out but I hope nobody else has to be banned and I hope nobody feels the need to 'leave' i-Club.
If there's one thing on i-Club that I really look forward to it is BAIC's annual Mt. Hamilton meet. It's a time when everyone feels good about themselves and each other and we enjoy the time we spend together. If you were to look around at the members who attend Mt. Hammy, you'd see people from different backgrounds and walks of life. We've taken our common interest in a car, of all things, and found common ground to come together. It's a place where even families can spend a pleasant Sunday afternoon. This is what I'd hope the forums will become. We are pretty darned close to achieving this, really.
