What gauges do I need?

Im going to be buying some gauges today...I know I need a boost gauge...I have the 3 gauge pillar already....So I was thinking of a Air/Fuel gauge and Oil Pressue gauge....Any good shops that are reccommended here!!..

Anyone have the Autometer c2??...

Does the stock autometer gauge light up?
If someone has pics, its a plus

Thanks

A/F is a waste of $$, go with boost, egt, fuel or oil pressure.

Some will talk **** about Autometer, but it's cheap and works. Whatever works for you though. As far as install goes, try MPJ Performance or Gruppe-S in Hayward.

Exhaust Gas Temp.

It's like an oil temp gauge, but reads a lot hotter, up to like 2000 F give or take a few hundred.

Forget A/F and EGT, get a Wideband O2. EGTs can only give you an idea of how your car is running. Wideband will let you know FOR SURE.

They do, but they call it a pyrometer I believe. If you do get an EGT gauge, you'll also need a probe as well.

Too much work? It monitors the exhaust gas temps. You might want to do some further research as it seems you have alot to learn, but don't worry because we all have to start somewhere.

If you want more info you might want to PM Gagan and Zoeb (02BlackWRX) or contact him via AIM (Black 02 WRX).

It's cool man. I'm sure you'll get the mod bug soon enough. It'll drain your wallet even worse than a money grubbing *****. Good luck.

I wanted to get a set of VDO gauges... but the EGT only goes to 1650... is that too low?

I like the speedometer and tachometer best.

JK! I'd say boost, oil pressure, and oil temp.

If you are upping boost then I'd say boost, oil pressure, and egt.
