vf34 turbo - Yes
sti injectors - Yes
hks up pipe - Why not, any brand works
egt gauge - Sure, to be safe
injen fmic - NO, absolutely not necessary, get a bigger TMIC, more lag induced than benefit with VF34
k&n typhoon s.r. intake - NO, NOT NEEDED AT ALL
accessport2 - Yes, or some other form of EM
hks ssqv bov - NO, not needed, at all
wilbro Fuel pump - Yes, a walbro would work too
hks turbo timer - NO, worthless, the VF34 is oil AND water cooled just as the stock turbo
boost gauge - Sure, if you say so.
gasketrs for u.p. and d.p. - I didn't see you list a DP, gaskets usually come with the UP and DP.
Where is the TBE? You need to get those two pesky post turbo cats out of the way to be successful, also the stock exhaust leaves a lot to be desired in terms of flow.
a bov, intake, turbo timer, and some chrome dubs to match?

I agree with all of this except your comments on the intake. At these power levels, a good intake will actually show gains in overall power and especially so in response. There are even gains to be had with the stock turbo in terms of response.
Thanks

I didn't see much going with an intake with the 34. I had a DIY cold air with a snorkusectomy, blockoff plate, panel filter and removed foglight and was pretty happy with it. I got a good deal on a K&N Cai, but only used it in short ram config and even after tune there wasn't much difference and I could even argue that the difference I saw(about 5hp) was due to it being 15° cooler than my last tune. I'm sure it does help a little, but replacing that nasty turbo inlet and intake combined may make some sense. Although if he does go with an FMIC, he'll have to have the short ram, so hmm.
