numbers arent that important...there is no "most accurate" number and they are all different...

They're all different but mustangs generally run lower.

"inflated" dyno numbers dont mean crap. the only thing that should matter is the delta from your baseline vs tuned dyno and perhaps track times.

The Mustang Dyno is most certainly NOT the most accurate.
Roller dyno's have inherent inaccuracy built into their design.
A roller dyno requires the that car be run over a range of RPM's. You know the mass of the roller, and the amount of energy it takes to accelerate it over a certain amount of time. Through a series of equations you can convert this into an estimate of horsepower.
The reason why you see these beautiful arc shaped torque curves... they are estimates.

The Dynapack hub bolt dyno is the best one I've found.
It uses a magnet based braking system to actually measure torque.
As a side benefit this allows you to hold an engine at a given RPM and make changes to the tune under specific circumstance (load, etc.)

All of that said... a standard roller dyno can still be an excellent tool for tuning.
BUT - you asked for the best.

How do you define accurate? Most dynos will read at least somewhat differently but as long as they're consistent, the absolute numbers don't matter much in the end. The important part is the percent gain from the baseline. You also have to remember that dynos are just tools and the real important part of a tune is how it feels and performs under real world conditions.

That being said, usually mustang and dyno dynamics dynos read about 15-20% lower than dynojets and dynapaks. But the dyno operator is ultimately in complete control over how the dyno reads, so there are some mustangs that read high and some dynojets that read lower. This is why it's tough to say that any dyno numbers are really "accurate".

Thanks

^^ from personal experience people that hate on the mustang dyno are people that don't have powerfully car. I easy on a dynapack at a shop in solcal and had 40whp more then the mustang dyno at a local shop. Just like the people that say they have 330whp on a stock turbo stage 2 Sti with Cali 91 **** water gas. But dyno #'s also don't mean jack it's about how the car drives.
