I have raced with him a couple times out at Stockton and he is simply amazing. He clowns on all the race prepper vettes, vipers, subarus, evos, porsches, etc. This guy is a killer driver, im amazed everytime i watch him drive.

High horsepower totally does not help in autocross. You're typically only going like 40, 50 mph max anyway, and it's almost as if autocross was invented for Miatas - lower speed, super maneuverability.
Not saying I'm that good, but it is pretty cool to see how close you can get to the cones without incurring time penalties (for competition)...
