My trunk is missing the stock jack it came with. Other than that it's just all the crap that came stock back there all piled on top eachother in no real order. Also an amp and crossover boxes hanging where that used to be mounted to my real stut tower brace (which was sold).
I think you guys should consider moving if there is such a big threat in your area. Damn, I would go crazy being scared all the time. I never even locked my front door until I got a roommate and started feeling obligated. Even now I only do when I leave the house.
Don't get me wrong, I like weapons and all. I am thinking of getting a handmade sword made in the future or possibly trade for one, but I don't think I could handle being so scared that I would keep a weapon around at all times.

2. why should i capitulate to criminals?
so when i move, what guarantees that next place is gonna be safe? and the next, and the next?

Absolutely nothing in mine! Just my spare tire and the stock jack. I think I've only used my trunk twice just for groceries. I have a van that does that most of the time. I rarely even drive my car is another thing.
Anyways, if you think about it... if you wanted to kidnap someone in your trunk, you couldn't because of that new DAMN safety latch mechanism that they can pull and open! ARGH! j/k Good if you accidently fell in your trunk though...

There's the decocker lever at the top, not sure what you'r looking at. But, yeah. If a person needs a safety on a gun, perhaps they shouldn't be owning one.
