I was thinking about jumping on this. Originally content with my stockers and my 03' impreza OBS but looks like the upgrade to 17" rims make a huge difference on the ride.
I'm not planning to do many upgrades to my Impreza as far as going fast or anything. Pretty much daily driver+snow.
Is this a good deal?

the safe bet for the Impreza wagons is 215/45/17, you can fit 225/45/17s if its not lowered and rarely will you rub, but if you are lowered then you have to either get 215's or roll/cut the rear fenders.
