goog search? news?
http://sfappeal.com/news/2011/05/pro...ant-threat.php
Also, what about the other 2 "disturbances" on Sunday?
"A 34-year-old man from Illinois tried to open a plane door on a Continental Airlines flight from Houston to Chicago. Investigators questioned him, but did not file charges.
There was a security scare aboard a Delta Air Lines flight from Detroit to San Diego, prompting it to land in Albuquerque, N.M. Authorities did not release any more details, except to say that "no suspicious devices" were found. No one was arrested."
Everything's cool there? were they of middle eastern decent? did they yell Allahu Akbar? No? Oh, everything's cool then...

I'd agree, but it's difficult to deal with terrorists who WANT to die and don't care at all about life. and where do we keep them all? Indiana?
waterboard them, get intel... I really wonder how much intel we got out of the computers at Usama's heezey.... and I heard the Pakistani's outed one of our CIA Agents cause they're butthurt that we went in after Usama...
I also found it funny that the U.S. hates on Pakistan cause we said they should know he lived there, America doesn't even know who lives here, nor cares... why do we think that they should? these types of things give U.S. a bad rap. more contradictions...

I dont think anyone that is on the fbis top 5 list would dare live anywhere that close to a military/government facility in the US with people guarding their mansion 24/7. My personal opinion is he was being sheltered by their government.
Imagine you're a top military official in Pakistan. OBL is a cash cow for your country. The longer he stays alive, the more aid you get from the US. Where do you keep him? as close as possible to a military base where there arent a lot of civilians and its easy to keep an eye on him.
Not End in Death: Jerk off while seated in your assigned seat while yelling crazy ****.
If you can't see the difference, I can't help you.
All I am saying is, if I was on that plane, and someone did that, and I had 1/2 an opportunity to put him down, I'd do it. I have a wife and kid I want to go home to, and it's an easy decision for me.

Because detaining him is just as effective? People seem to forget that we're a civil country. We are NOT radicals that kill anyone that believes something different from us and acts in different ways.
Sorry, I've gotta be blunt on this one... That is an easy claim for you to make when not confronted with the actual situation, we'd all like to think we'd be the hero of the day.

I've been stabbed before, even had a gun put in my face before. I'd rather go down giving someone else a chance to end the dude than smashed in to a building or a bridge.
I'm slightly confused by all these comments pushing lethal force. Given the situation, if the people who stopped him needed to kill him in order to get him to stop, they would have.
Should they have killed him once detained? How would they have done that? Broken his neck, stomped his head in, or stabbed him with the toenail clippers someone smuggled onto the flight? If you had tried any of that, you would have been the next person detained.

Were I a passenger on the plane? Rush the guy, put him head first into the bulkhead, continue to slam his face/skull into the floor once we are down tell he stops breathing.
Don't care the reasons, don't care if he is 'ill' the guy put my life/other peoples lives in danger and thats enough a reason for me to use lethal force.
