edit - i spoke to her last night and i had forgotten she actually did tell me she had been to norcal just once.. she actually did the touristy really quickly like 10yrs ago but didn't get much of a chance to explore any other places.. so she told me it wouldn't really be too worth it to do it again and to go places to do stuff we can do together that non tourists do

theres a few websites that put out "do lists" on a weekly basis. they usually also have a cheap option, and lots of shows/concerts that are going on. check out kqed.org for the city, or the mercury news website for the south bay.

Down here in Monterey Bay, theres not much except Golf if your into that lol, the Aquarium, and Fisherman's Warf (Not the SF one). Theres Great places in PG that has great views of the ocean, and theres great restaurants in Carmel.

Other than that its boring here

hmm i don't think i've ever been to that fisherman's wharf.. we'll look up places in that area for the drive up, thanks for the suggestion

i don't think we'd have enough time for camping, plus we'd wanna try out different restaurants up and down ca too.. and hockey is, well.. not my thing haha
