Sounds like a deep whistle sound is the best I can describe it. I personally thought it was my intake doing that noise since I have a new filter which allows more air but, ended up being that.

You will reach target boost levels in my case at least but, your motor will be working harder. If anything, my future plans are new intercooler with a different y pipe. The factory one really isnt restrictive at all from what I can see but maybe in your year it is.

I put a brand new elbow in a while back and it made a difference, brought back the bottom end. Then again, the old one was showing cords, so...

Mine doesnt simply have an elbow. Its 1 piece until the cast flanges on the IC.
06 wrx.
Ill either get the grimmspeed one so I can use it with their tmic when I get one. But I read it doesnt fit the stock wrx ic.

They also sell for half price a one piece y pipe silicone hose, bpv hose and tb coupler. Which would be a stock upgrade vs a new design. Dont know if its worth the 65 bucks tho....

Crashed my 2.5i...

I just finished three back to back to back finals and was driving to go pick my mom up a Mother's Day gift when a car slammed on the brakes in front of me in front of the University and I had zero chance of stopping in time. My speed was about 30mph in a 35 mph zone. The guy I hit was allegedly texting while driving so the police officer is going to factor that into his report. The thing is that the officer said it is very hard to prove that the other guy was in fact texting.

From looking at my car in person, I am far far from an expert, it looks like the front bumper, hood, headlight, left front quarter panel, and likely even the drivers door will all have to be replaced. Anybody have any experience dealing with insurance companies? I have AAA and I don't know what they will do considering the value of my car is so low.

It's a 2007 Subaru Impreza 2.5i 107,500 miles.

Thanks guys.

AAA is super good with claims. Ive submitted 3-4 claims since ive been with them.

I think bluebook on that car would be around 10 with milage. And if itd less than 80% they wont salvage it.

Just submit your claim (will be your fault)

And take it to a body shop in the network.

I rearendes a ford ****us doing 40 on highway 17 and buckled the hood and front grill. The effin bodyshop still cant get the bumper right. Ive been there 4 times for jist the bumper.

dumb ***** stopped in the middle of the road to let someone over who had their blinker on. Not a subtle stop.....more of an omfggggggg I need to put my foot thru the floor stop..........
