Washed it, installed the new plates, and failed at trying to fit my old school Yakima Rail Grabs onto the Forester SH rails. Gonna go pro-form some Thule 450's tomorrow instead.

That came out nice. I need to mine - they are all yellow. Did you use a kit? I used kits before, but had the best luck with just a couple different grits of sandpaper and some light compound (3M micropolish). But I don't have a garage anymore so can't really make a mess this time round. My lights look nasty though.

What am I doing to my car today? Going to stuff my ladies inside and go for a drive. Taking the wife and daughter to Alice's as soon as my little one wakes up (20mo old). Have to check the tire pressures, and convert the child seat from Growler duty.

BTW - how big of a deal is it to put mudflaps on? I was going to get the rallyarmor set, but can't really pull a wheel off in my parking spot. Can I install them without pulling a wheel off? Not having a garage sucks, first time since 2002 for me.

I borrowed Jeremy's Meguires sanding etc kit. It doesn't make a mess at all.

Mudflaps I did in my driveway its easy no need for a garage or pull wheels off.

Very easy, it was my first mod on my car and I had no struggles. Just make sure you keep nut and plastic clips together.... Losing them is a pita.

No you don't need to remove your tire.

So hold it, we CAN DO THAT!!?? Is your's a Legacy or a Forester b/c it should supposedly also work for my Forester??

When can we meet up, I want to see how your's turned out. Seeing as I just accidentally washed my beeper since it's on a separate ring from the keys. Saturday the 29th I'm free.
