What did old UTECs retail for?

The morons who broke into my place threw the box with my recently parted-out UTEC on the floor... and now it doesn't work. Argh! For insurance I have to tell them what its original retail price was, anyone remember? I have a rev5b ('02-'04).

That's really the irony in all this -- I was about to sell a lot of the stuff they stole/broke for dirt cheap prices. But insurance pays you replacement value. Even if insurance payments cushion the blow a bit, having my home violated still sucks.

Thanks for the info.

Btw - does anyone actually use TXS's new $1050 unit?

I think you might have been thinking of the UTEC+Tuna, that'd sound about right 900+ The UTEC alone couldn't cost that much because a ECUTEK flash at the time was about $600... the funny thing is that I thin it still is and the new UTEC is about $900. But I think TXS is going for a different market now, the sort who need constant programming capability.... though lots of such folks are going Cobb.

Of course, this doesn't apply to me any more I just want another pound of boost or two for 270whp and 300ftlb in my MS3 so the torque steer is even more of out control!
