What CAI do you recommed for an 06 STi?

Getting an intake won't give you an power gain unless your pushing like 400whp+. It's the biggest gimmick you can get on our cars since the stock air box is actually very efficient. To maximize this efficiency just go out and get a good drop-in air filter. If you're looking for some sound, then just do the snorkel delete or if you really want, get a short ram with a heatshield. This will give you a loud intake, but no much drawback except possible increased intake temps.

CAI though, are useless and pretty much endanger your car more thank anything. With winter coming up, I sure am glad I don't have my filter sitting in the fender liner getting drenched!

A good CAI will give you about 5whp on a good stage to setup. It'll also help with spool a bit. The APS and AEM are good units. We also have our own coming ou very soon.
