What The ****!!!!!!!!!

I am at witts end.

Why is it that credit people, bank people, account people...whatever are all in ****ing india. Why is it that people that don't even live in this country have so much control over what goes on in my life????

I just spent the last hour on the phone getting bounced around from person to person and not one of them spoke english I could understand and not one of them had less than their entire head up their ***....a few I would say managed to fit their shoulders in as well.

I was informed that my credit report had some open accounts on it. Which I know to not be true as I just paid everything off. I was out of work for 8 months and got backwards on some accounts. So I called the credit agency and they said that everything was clear on their end so I had to dispute it with my bank and then the credit people would say it was all good and it'd go away. So I called my bank...a couple times. I told them my credit report had some false reports on it. They told me to send a letter to some guy in S.F. I said...well I need the totals so I can tell him which ones I'm disputing. Round and round we go. They tell me they don't know what I'm talking about and started to tell my account balances. I'm like I know what those are I need my credit report. Round and round. Needless to say they didn't know what the **** I was talking about. I don't know how clearly I can say...credit report...not account balances.

I am so out of patience. I finally just hung up.

This isn't first time this has happened.

I don't understand how people that don't even live in this country can have so much control over me. Shut off my phone. Shut off my pg&e. **** up my credit. Do all these different things and have ZERO accountability for mistakes that THEY make. Then it takes me forever to figure out what the **** is going on and fix it. What happened to the days where I could just call and tell someone what was up and they'd go....ok. lets get this figured out then walla....**** up fixed.

Rediculous. ****ing corporate america is digging us into a dich we may never recover from.

Dude, my moms had to send in health insurance payments late and they always say she has a 14 day grace period. Then, when she has to use that grace period she gets a letter saying they've canceled the policy so she has to call them and be like "hey *******, you said I have a 14 day grace period" and they go "no you dont, theres no grace period. We'll reinstate the policy because you were given the wrong information, but we can only do it once" when they just reinstated it for the second time. Oh, and of course the person she originally spoke with failed to actually fill out a call report and record what was said

You know what I love though? Trying to set up a new CC through a guy in India that can barely speak english!

I know your frustrations Ray. I'm going through the same crap. Citibank is the devil. They apparently weren't happy with the collection agency that I made an agreement with for $100 a month. God forbid they don't get their money fast enough. So they sick some company that wanted me to pay $780 right there on the spot. I told em to suck it and they suddenly changed their minds and decided to accept $200 a month instead. What a Bunch of jackasses.

Welcome to the wonderful world of outsourcing.

funny thing is, indias tech economy is growing so quickly they are now sub-outsourcing their tech support to the philipines. At this rate in a couple years the tech support calls will be sub-sub-outsourced back to the unemployed tech support people back here in the U.S.

What is the problem? False charges? If its just open accounts your best option would be to leave them open.

Closed lines of credit will 'generally' hurt your credit score.

If there are no false charges I would leave them open.

This is why you should transfer to bay federal. I've been with them for ten years and they are the best.

There are 2 that aren't accurate and one that's opened that I paid off and closed.

2 others closed and clearing.

Best way of dealing with the CC companies is through writing (snail mail). The CSR's will not and cannot help you, dont waste your time. Write them a letter and send it certified. I believe they have 30 days to clear up the matter, if not threaten to sue them.

You can find A LOT of advice on credit boards.
