i went offroading yesterday in my suby and now it makes a light sqeeky noise when sitting at idle. it comes and goes too. do you knoe what this is? it's nnot the belts, i checked those

 

I would check the turbo for mice

 

i thought it was the turbo, but it sounds like it's coming from the tranny.

 

Whenever I go offroading in the jetta, it usually makes squeeking noises afterward. That car always kinda squeeks though. I can't think of any reason why it would. Try hosing it down real good, especially underneath. Good luck!

weird...I've never had the problem after off roading or a rally-x

last time I went though I left the area with a scratched bumper, a wheel full of mud, and a nice knocking sound the right rear wheel area got some nice STi struts after that though

oh yeah, and if you dont powerwash the underside now, make sure you do before you bring it back to the dealership....if for any reason anyone would go back to one of those

 

the stealership already turned my car away once i put the cobb springs on it. they definitely won't take it now that i have done more work.

i had a weird squeaky noise come from around there after i got some air.. bolt on exhaust got f'ed up and was goin squeak squeak squeak on that downpipe hanger.
