if you want to get something luxurious comfortable, get something other than a subaru. LGT is a wannabe luxury car. sorry to anyone who is offended.

The 5-speed sportshift and Si drive on the 07 LGT is pretty rad. It's a nice, fast car. Certainly a wannabe luxury car, but who can complain for the price?

Oh, yeah, and they finally made the rear seats fold down 60/40 on the sedan, so that might make it more of an option for you instead of the wagon. The trunk is huuuge!

why do people feel they need a new car as they have a family? is there not a family out there that still drives an STi? of course half the husbands wouldnt trust there wives driving there car but thats the only reason i could see to get a different car.

I used to drive a miata and haul my bike in it, i carried a set wheels AND tires in it. Ive put four people in it going a few blocks away.

Im pretty sure a child seat will fit into and four door car, just sad to see your car go

just came back from Carslen Subaru from driving the Legacy GT, first impressions is a nice sleek look with good build quality. The Interior is overall decent but the rear seats could use more room (I'm 5 11'' and I felt my head was about to hit the roof.) Its true what they say, the engine is what makes this car appealing. I sat in and adjusted my seats and was ready to roll. With the sportshift I notice a VERY smooth up-shifting and downshifting. You hardly hear engine noise except for just a slight pssssH!! when letting of the throttle. I head near the backroad of Industrial near Best Buy and salesperson tells me to floor it!!..OK so I did, car had immediate respose except for a little lag on top end.

Overall good vehicle, but the salesperson was trying to con me into paying $31K + fees..(Good Luck!)

Here is what I am hoping for!!

I have 02 wrx 5 speed and legacy outback 06 auto. I don't know if legcay outback is similar to LGT or not, but auto really is no fun. I also feel that interior space is not much bigger than my wrx. It does have bigger trunk area though - it being a wagon. I don't think wrx to legacy will not be much improvement in terms of it being a better family car. I would just keep wrx and teach your wife how to use manual trans. Legacy is safer though....five star something - similar or equal to volvo.

^^^oh you sold wrx already. My mistake. In that case, get a wagon instead.
