We have a 06 LGT wagon with the auto. Manual shifting any auto trans is not the same precise experience as a manual trans. But that said, the LGT maual shifts aren't so bad. There is a lag for sure, but its consistant. I've found that under moderate to heavy acceleration you want to ask for the shift about 1,000 rpm before you want the shift to take place. The LGT's auto and Sport auto modes are already pretty good for comfortable/sporty hands-off worry free driving so I don't end up using the manual mode all that often (but its fun to have the option).

Keep in mind, this is for his WIFE. Not sure if shes speedracerette or not
