I was being facetious about the insurance, I mean if you could afford a car like that what does any insurance company have to offer you? I expect someone with that kind of liquidity doesn't need to have insurance on any of their cars- except maybe theft coverage on some of the finer ones.

Although I bet that even for Art- it has to hurt to part with that much money.

yeah, and Art really is a neat down to earth guy and has a good attitude about his cars and what he likes to do with them. Not many guys would have taken a car like that out on the track in the first place, and even right after the first crash the driver was alot more upset then Art.

Then theres other guys like the Carrera GT owner. Like Mike says, Im a big beliver in instant karma

By status symbol you mean ***** replacement, right?

GURL>..you're crazy.

I love them. One of the best built cars in the world. I'd kill to drive an F50. No computers, no traction control. Just raw car. One of the best super sports cars ever built if not the best.

I love them. Maybe it's all the magnum PI I watched growing up but god I love ferraris.

Not necessarily. More like, "hey everybody look at me! I'm rich and my supermodel girlfriend is 40 years younger than me!" I love stereotypes.

1. Its not about money its ART
2. This form of art is much more practical then a 198million dollar canvas that sits on a wall.
3. If you guys had the money you would buy **** like that as well
4. **** happens, art will most likely end up fixing it and driving it agian. If you buy a car, work on a car and then drive that car worth a damn you will eventually crash it.

That is life

If you dont crash it you aint driving it for what it is worth...

I give mad props to art, and all the people in this world like him...

I for one wish i had the resources he does..

one thing is for damn sure i would warp a helluva alot more cars then he does.. haha

id wrap lambos just to wrap them..

A beautiful fast car is just as dead when sitting in a garage untouched for twenty years. THe car that hit the wall at 100+ mph gets a more dignified end, and a chance to be reborn

My opinion; I would rather see fast cars bought by people who are going to take them outside, drive them, and yes in some cases crash them. There's nothing more pathetic than a 600+ HP car sitting in a garage forever as a status symbol.
