Well hell... looks like my voice will be heard. LOL!

So tomorrow one of Adobe's product managers is bringing his team through my office for an hour or so to just take a tour, watch us work, etc.

So I guess I can ask him why CS6 crashes so much more often than CS5 did.

CS5 would churn on something for a while and at least try to do something. CS6... you ask it to do something hard and it just kind of freaks out and runs away. I get a CS6 related crash on average twice a week. CS5... like once a month.

Just had illustrator crap out on m 5 minutes ago. Now I'm waiting for it to reopen all my damn files to see how much work I just lost.

My work just finally upgraded from cs3 to cs5. Still learning the new version. My favorite crash for CS3 is in the layer palette, clicking just to the right of the expand arrow and to the left of the layer name, in that small void. Crashes 100% of the time. Oh joy!

Then you probably know the folks that were in my office today. Really nice and very professional bunch of guys. It was very humbling having them in the office today. Huge compliment them considering our work worthy of a visit.

As for my specs...
I'm running 10.7.2.
3.4 Ghz Intel i7
12 gigs 1333mhz ddr3
and radeon hd 6970 1024mb

The other machine is peg'd out and running solid state and the better graphics card. Thing is so damned fast. I'm jealous. But we might be getting another machine when the new ones come out and I'll be trying to work my way in to that one and the one I'm on will go to one of the other team members. We really need 2 more.

One of the files I was working on was 1.5 gigs. I worked on one not to long ago that was over 5 gigs.

You push them that hard?
