Don't count on the cop being absent from court. They get paid for it. They are always there. Written declaration, they will complete that too. Why do you think cops hate parer work so much? Good luck and go invest in a V1, Bel RX65 Pro, or a Escort X50. Granted these are not a license to speed but I'd bet, you wouldn't have gotten a ticket.
yeah really, court date? who wants to deal with that...unless you dont have a job...

i was 16 when i was doing 80 in a 45 and i was able to do traffic school. (beat an FC RX-7 in my '85 Prelude Si WOOOOOOT) sooooooo worth it

river road right before fulton on the way to the freeway, coming back from work, its 55 pretty much all the way through to guernville

what is no contest? ive never heard that before

getting a reduction would be the best, need to save my money for a later project plus i wouldnt mind going to traffic school if it saves me a bit

Just see if you can do traffic school, it was only 15mph over... and i think youre good as long as its under something like 25mph over the limit for traffic school.

I got a 90 in a 50 in my silverado at midnight when i was 17 and got it reduced to a 70 in a 50 by talking with the cop, then i was allowed traffic school and got no point.

Comedy traffic school ftw! i can do the whole traffic school in 30 minutes now (i've helped a few friends threw it lol)

yea i emailed ticketassasin to see what i could get, got back this response

You are truly in a BIND. Most courts do not permit minors to do a Trial
by Declaration. Since you don't have much of a defense, see if they'll
give you traffic school. At least you can keep your record clean and
insurance from increasing. That should be your main concern here, not
the fine. The fine is less than $200. If you get a conviction point at
your age, your insurance could go up $500-1000/ year pretty easily. The
points stay on your record for at least three years.

Once your turn 18, you'll be able to do a Trial by Declaration for any
ticket you get. Hopefully, you'll come back and join if you need help
in the future.

Good luck!

Thats the key right there. You can keep calling and getting a new court date and be for you know its been a whole year. this has work for me a few times in the past.
