I never answer a number that has no caller ID. I let my voicemail take it then I decide from there. I tell people that's why there's voicemail,leave a freakin' message.

 

Couple months ago I got a weird call from a 408 number around midnite, let it go to VM. Checked it in the mornin and it was a heavy breathing chick sayin "F U" and my name. Was weird cuz I didnt recognize the #, so took it as my coworkers effin with me. Decided to play along and sent a text, and got a response from "Sandy", but the # didnt match the sandy I know from work.

Turns out the phone belonged to this dude that got his phone stolen by "Sandy" and she must have mis dialed my # cuz I didnt know the dude. He called me, talkin like an ******* and insinuating that I had somethin to do with him gettin rolled by tha chick. I told him I'd love to help but since yer bein a douche to just go eff urself. I didnt hear anything after that.

 

I had a cool one a few months ago...Guy called up, I answered with my name, but he wasn't listening...

I know you got krista and I'm telling you you better bring her home in one piece or I'm gonna hunt you down...don't hang up, I'm just telling you, she better be okay when you bring her back, etc., etc., it just kept going on with the sounds of at least two women in the background crying and another guy that was talking to the women. IDK if it was a wrong number or a hoax, but it was entertaining.

About a year before that I had a message on my answering machine that sounded like someone threatening to kill someone if "John" didn't do something...My name is not John.
