I always see older STi and WRX drivers on the road and the only thing that comes to my mind is "That's so cool that the older generation still appreciates speed and AWD."
I've never thought that I was too old for my car, my only problem is that most people think my parents must have paid for it, or I'm driving my fiance's car who also happens to have an STi as well.

Well, I have an Evo and I'm 30. I get quite a few double takes when people see me pull up in it or some guy is revving at me and I just smile and wave at them.
I think the main thing that bothers people is the big wing. Somehow if you have a wing like that then you must be immature.
Oh and girls absolutely hate the car.

My GF likes STi/EVO but says Lotus Elises are UGLY...thats when ignore her for an hour.

I'm a 32 year old HS teacher and NO WAY am I too old to be driving an STi. Of course, it doesn't help that most people think I'm 24-25. Anyway, age is all in the mind. I act younger at heart that most of my friends in their 20s and I pass all of them on the freeway too. :-) I absolutely love my new Limited Edition STI all my students are jealous of it. If only I made more money to do some mods on it.
