I'm 35 and I've been driving a Legacy wagon for 7 years. I certainly am not too old for my car.

im 31...i got the STi when i was 30....before i got the suby i was driving a fully built prelude which i still drive.... cops give me a hard time when they pull me over in the lude because of my age and that im a girl...."what are you doing driving this kinda of car Maam?" haha its funny but it got OLD real fast. now my precisious prelude sits the majority of time and i rock my suby on a daily basis!!

i got the STi for 3 reasons....1. because its STOCK and reliable....2. because i picked it up for a REALLY great price....and 3. its the PERFECT mom-mobile

two of our customers are very well off older white guys (in their 40s and 50s) who modify the subys and im jealous of their STis....

most people i see around with subys are older and have kids if not grandkids :lol

case in point.....Subys are more for a 30 something crowd imo... at least its not honda where theres TONS of 16ys old modding them out and creating a bad name for the brand. modded subys dont get hassled nearly as much as honda/acura or even toyota/nissan.

so Gil...tell that person to go stick it where the sun dont shine and continue on your merry way....maybe theyre just jealous because our cars are a great all around vehicle

ps....i cant believe im back to disliking/profiling hondas again...at least its not as much as i used to.

if yes F--- them and tell them to follow there trends somewhere else.

I agree with what Subyn00by said about it being a hobby. People are to caught up in what is "cool" these days and cant think outside the box enough to realize that if you like something for what it is, that is enough of a reason to do it.
agreed!!!

at this stage in my life (late 30's), i can afford to drive ALMOST anything i want. ive had suv's, vw's (gti), MB-AMG's, etc...and this BY FAR is the FUNNEST car i've owned. i dont usually keep cars for more than 2-3 years...and NO ONE believes me when i say i'm KEEPING my STi. all i can say is...

GO US GEEZERS...!!!

+1 million.. I've been the same way in my past never keeping a car for more than 2-3 years. Porsche, Ferrari, BMW, MB, a few Mini Cooper's old and new, some trucks and suv's and now 2 STI's one for my wife and I..

GO US GEEZERS!!!

its the rookie. even the best rookies make mistakes. hopefully they realize the flaws and correct them. It is still a nice SUV.

Im only 25 so not a geezer, but I plan on keeping my WRX. I might upgrade to a Spec-B, but most likely at that point will have two cars.

I got my gf into getting a Forester. She likes them more than her Durango and she is 30. Subaru FTW!!

I think I'm too young for my car... most other FXT drivers I see around are baby boomer/retiree age!

Well I'm 29, by no means "old". But I'm not the only person in my office with a WRX. One of our interior designers has a silver 05, and she's ~25. Then one of the principles in our office loves our cars and wants to get one (he's early 50s).

Just goes to show they can be appriciated by many age groups The ones that complain are the ones that usually cant afford them or dont have the credit for them.

LOL... Matt had his first date with his wife there. Fun place. I was gonna try to make it to the meet this week but instead woke up face down in a pile of laundry around midnight. I hate laundry.

Content: Seriously man, you need to not listen to people who tell you that you are too old for something or anything that stupid and superficial. That kind of crap can be contagious! Nevermind that you are the one who paid for your car so you should be able to drive what you want. Pick up a beetle and some ronal bears, and punch anyone in the face who doesn't like it. Haha..

I turned 30 last year but I had already sold my Impreza. Now I drive a VW (no I will not be the DD) but I still have my pet car (Justy). Was thinking of grabbing an STi but between the bright blue interior and the dealers that must be punched in the neck, I am keeping the R32. I don't feel that I am too old or too young for it.

I would TOTALLY sport a silver or black bugeye sedan again. Would really like it. If anyone told me I was too old for it, they could - but I wouldn't care. Sometimes I felt a little odd in my loud **** coupe with the big spoiler and stuff, but I liked that car - it was fun. Some people at work would make comments but honestly all that does is add an idiot tag to that person. One person said "my my, your car sure is loud isn't it." I said "Yes... Thanks!" and got one of my favorite weird looks. But then, I am an average looking white guy who slams stuff like dre and nas - takes me back to the highschool days. Now THAT gets weird looks. "I know you're bobbin' yer head..." Haha.. Good times.
