We're going to be calling your insurance agent to make sure your policy is paid up...
...and see if it covers lowered vehicles on roads which lowered vehicles are not welcome. If you wind up with a hole in the pan or a suspension failure...
...it's NOT because I didn't offer to take you out there and show you the roads you'll be playing on.
I'll definitely be sweep, and will keep the tow rope handy, as there are NO towing services out there.

These roads are in the North Bay. We're meeting in Petaluma at the Fairgrounds, just off the Washington St. exit WEST of the 101.
If you truly want to play, simply make sure to be there by 9 a.m. with the following (these apply to EVERYONE):
1. A full tank - where we're going there are no gas stations - therefore you don't want to be caught out with no gas.
2. An empty bladder - at the speeds we're going, you're not going to have time to stop for a pee break.
3. Snacks and drinks - while we WILL be stopping for lunch in Gualala (google map Gualala to see how far north we're going), we won't have anyplace to stop for snacks until then.
Specifically for MyNikonLens:
4. A camera - some great roads, some awesome views and scenery, and bring something that's capable of some high speed photography. That's not difficult for you, but if you're coming along, we can plan some really great opportunities.
5. The day - understand that you're probably going to arrive home with your headlights on (darkness).
Optional (but nice):
A CD with the pics you took on the wine tour. We really missed you on the last part as there was some good scenery after we left the Sonoma Valley.

I am so sorry I never sent you the CD. I will do so. I just had a crazy couple of months and keep forgetting. I still have you address.
When are you planning to go for this drive? This month is out for me.

Looks like ill be able to make it. It will be great to see some of the old frinds.
Ill bring my radio and my camera...
anyone have a method of mounting the camera in our cars.
I saw that Roo had some kind of mount but i think that one only fit in the forester.

Everyone: If you don't have one, go out and get a FRS radio (those new walkie-talkie types you see everywhere) and bring it. They'll allow the leaders to alert ones in the back to oncoming traffic, etc.
