glad that others got in on the action too.
sorry to those that didn't or that come out on the short end. everyone takes a hit every now and then. it wouldn't be gambling if you won EVERY time, right??
I did make one slip-up today......didn't get in a parlay on Steelers straight + minus the points + under. I would've REALLY cleaned house if I pulled the trigger on that.
i don't like to bet on sports very often, but my MNF + Super Bowl records are "pretty good".

Haha, but I do enjoy playing squares. We played for $5 for 2 squares and the pot was pretty decent for that wager. So at least I only lost lunch money for a day.

My wife won $50 in an office pool from the halftime score. Those squares were only $1 each ($50 halftime, $50 final), but she about 6 squares in that one, 4 in one $5/sqaure pool, 4 in another $5/square pool, and about 8 in a $.50/square pool. So I think our net was about $0.

office pools are fun and can be pretty lucrative if you get really lucky like Egan's wife. Congrats to you and her.
Glad you didn't get hurt too bad, Imprezzy. But if you like playing squares for $$$, I'll go few rounds of 4-square w/ya. I was pretty dang good at that back in the day (hopscotch too, SERIOUSLY)
btw, now that it's over, I guess I can let everyone in on the "hot tip" clincher that i took as a pre-cursor to my $B good fortune.
I couldn't sleep last night, so I dug through my DVD stash for a flick. Of all movies, I finally settled on Flashdance. I never realized it until watching last night, but the movie is set in Pittsburgh. I guess the big guy upstairs is a Steelers fan too! :lol : Seriously, it probably was just a coinky-dink, but I thought it was pretty weird.
