I love how people talk **** about slamming your car on Tein springs but are fine with doing it with cheap taiwanese coilovers

Guess what, BOTH setups will handle like CRAP and BOTH will blow out the shocks after a while. So if you dont care about losing some handling and just want to look "frush" than save your money and run the Tein S on the stock STI struts.

I ran mine like this for about 6 months back in the day before I installed my Megan coilovers. The teins were actually matched pretty well since the stock STIs struts are a bit over damped for the stock STI springs, def better ride AND handling I got from the megan set to the same height, no matter how much I played with the settings.

Eventually I came to my senses and got some Whiteline coilovers and set them to a decent height and those were awesome Im not going to clown you if you want to slam your car, if thats your thing thats your thing and half the people in BAIC are in the Frush crowd so they can just STFU, but if your gonna do it Teins and stock STI struts are the lesser of the two evils IMHO

and oh yeah...

Never been and never will be 'frush'.

Swifts are plenty low and work very well because they are designed better and are made of better, lighter material resulting in skinnier wire. There is really no reason to run anything else since pretty much all springs are same price brand new.

But if you want to run Teins, they'll work too, you can get them pretty cheap used.

You're right, we should back to i-Club circa 2005 or so.

Whenever anyone asks a silly question, I'll just tell them to run a search instead of joking around with them.
I'll resist the urge to call them a n00b too.

Stupid questions deserve stupid answers.

In this case, the question itself wasn't too bad, although a search would have pulled up a hundred threads about it, but it was the way it was asked.
