santa cruz subaru was going to warranty my struts on an 05 sti with RSR springs, they said the only catch would be that I would have to bring the car in, and have the stock springs with me, cuz they would install the new strut, and the stock springs...not the lowering springs.

lower spring = damage to strut.

And yes, you can warranty struts, it seems to be more common with STi's that strut damage occurs.

The modifications you have are for power, not suspension. If you had lowering springs on, then I would say fix it yourself.

If it makes you feel any better, my 04 WRX that had Eibach springs on it for about 14K miles and now back to stock are clunking.
I am going for KYBs + STi Pink springs and possibly group-N tophats.

talk to mark, tell him you know hugo, they're usually pretty cool on bolt ons, but if you've got a rotated turbo with a front mount, they might trip a little
