Walbro 255 or deatschwerks 200?

My walbro is going out.

I'm going to buy a new fuel pump and a new FPR.

I've heard the deatschwerks pump is more drop in/plug and play and that you have to modify tabs and use washers to get spacing and fitment correct on the walbro.

Anybody have experience with the DW 200? They say it flows better than that walbro 255.

I was tuned on a walbro 255. Will a pump change affect my tune if it actually pumps more/less. Injectors will remain the same.

DW200 info:
The DW 200 is a brand new pump released as a alternative cost effective option for the DW300 where as high of fuel flow is not needed. Featuring the same dimensions and installation, this is a great pump for someone doing a build medium size build or needing a OEM replacement pump. With a flow of 255lph at 40PSI, this pump is able to supply fuel you need in a cost effective package!

Also dont forget that all DeatschWerks pumps feature a 3 year No Fault warranty. A industry first fuel pump to offer that!

Walbro has a damn good rep.

35 Gallons per hour is pretty formidable for a 4-cyl. I seriously doubt you need more flow

I didn't even think to check with you cause of the weekend... What the hell are you doing at the shop on a Sunday?

I ended up swapping rear rotors, researching iacv cleaning, purchasing a new filter replacement for my aps cai, bought a filter clean/recharge kit, and bought maf cleaner. I'm going to do the easy stuff and then if I still have the cold start sputter, I'll replace the pump and the fpr/ o ring / vacuum line, and also iacv gasket.

Pm me the price for your walbro sir. (I have a bugeye if it matters)

Ok cool. The only reason the DW caught my attention is because DW claims better flow and better plug and play

The DW is only better plug and play for the 08+ applications. For previous applications the Walbro drops right in.
