Anyone ever do one of those NASCAR experiences?

I received a Groupon gift for one of these. No, I'm totally not into NASCAR and I do like to turn right just as much as left. But it was a thoughtful gift from a friend who doesn't know car stuff at all.

Anyways... anyone done it?

What was it like? How does the experience work? How fast can you go? How do they prevent accidents?

 

I did the one in Irwindale. It was fun! But I paid the $99 for insurance, in case I goosed it into the wall.

Having said that, the guy on the radio kept telling me to push it mid-bank to get it to rotate to the lower part of the track. It was a lot of fun, and addicting. I almost paid for another spin.
