Wagon Related issue

So I refilled my washer fluid a couple weeks ago and I just noticed that whenever I accelerate quickly quite a bit of liquid leaks out of the back sprayer and goes down my back window. Any other wagon owners have this problem? Any Ideas on how to stop it?

Order a new sprayer. Just the end piece. They should only be a few bucks.

Or hit up Queeg9k. I think he has a hatch. He might be able to sell you that part of it.

You probably just have an issue with that part of it.

Thats what I was hoping for. Might do the front also. Passenger sprayer just shoots a short stream.

My spare hatch has no sprayer. Good lookin out though Ray. My car needs a couple new sprayers as well. Perhaps I will price them today from Subaru.

It's not the sprayer IIRC. There's a check valve somewhere in the rear hatch area that needs to be replaced. I had to do it on my FXT. I can't recall the part number, but you should be able to find it with a good search.

IS this the same as the blinker fluid?!?!?!?!

Lol jk

Yeah the forward motion is shifting the fluid backwards, look to see if you have a broken one way valve if not a faulty sprayer. Does it work fine with your sprayer button?

Ya it does the normal streams when I turn them on. Its just annoying to be driving around and have water constantly going down the back window. Ill have to look into the valve.

Looking on opposedforces I cant see any actual valve part# all they have is for a large portion of the rear assembly. Not sure what to do. Maybe call a dealership?

Update 1:Found a possible solution on a forester forum. Part# 86634AA010

Update 2: Complete write up http://www.subyclub.com/topic/3580-w...rter/?p=120231

Thanks for the tips guys.
