Hey all,
I was one of the first Vishnu Stage II users (and probably the very first with a 2003 model) and I finally got the EMI adapter on (takes less than an hour to install).
Before the EMI adapter the car was strong in 3rd gear but 4th and 5th both had problems - power yes, but not smooth at all.
After the EMI adapter - power is smooth in all gears all the way up to redline - MUCH smoother power delivery.
The cons - second and thrid gear with very little gas, it's rough. This is new and wasn't present before I got the EMI adapter but it is easy to get around either downshift or take it out of gear when I have to go slowly (like through a parking lot behind a buch of other cars).
I honestly didn't expect the EMI adapter to fix much except my CEL what I got though was a MUCH improved throttle response. I can't imagine how an ECUTEC could be better except maybe to smooth out the rough ride at very low throttle.
I know I don't have any more power, but car feels stronger since it is now so smooth - no hesitation and stumbling as I accelerate, ever.
Notes:
My Unichip was originally dynotuned by Shiv.
This is all on 91 Octane 76 fuel.
