Vishnu Dyno Day - 3/1/03
Hi All,
Well its official ... we've got ourselves a BAIC-Vishnu Dyno Day.
Date: March 1 2003
Time: 10:30AM - until the cows come home
So here are all the options for the day (listed in the order of priority):
$50 (tax included) - unlimited runs until HP and Torque stabilize. A/F printout included (10 spots total, 5 already taken ... list may be expanded a few more slots, if needed)
$750 (tax included) - ECUTEK reflash + Custom Dyno Tune for your car (this deal cannot be beat, period - spots are limited). You are getting Shiv to reflashed ECU and custom dyno tune for your car's nuances for free (no charge for the usual $200/hr Dyno Tuning Session) - MUST HAVE STOCK AIRBOX and no other random craziness
$150/hr (tax included) - Discounted Dyno Tune (25% off), if you just want to have Shiv Dyno Tune your car with your current mods and management ... this is a great deal too (spots are very limited)
IMO, Boys and Girls, the ECUTEK reflash + Dyno tune is the way to go. If you need to ask Santa (or more importantly Mrs. Claus) for an early Christmas present, now is the time to do it. The reflash is as smooth as butter, now for all you Subies that just like to sit around and watch things happen and you're not sure if you want a reflash. Shiv will have a few units floating around with varying levels of tune. He'll simply let you borrow the ECU and you'll drive around with it in your car, just to see if you like it. If you do, then pay for the ECUTEK reflash + custom dyno tune (for just the price of the reflash ... remember the $200/hr savings). Now how can you beat that?
So its first come, first serve and money holds the spot. I'll be the keeper of the list (this time) and will collect via paypal (wrxspam@yahoo.com) or at local car meets. If you're paypal'ing me with a credit card based account (unverified), please add 3% - since that is what they'll charge me ($51.50 or $772.50 or $154.50/hr). Otherwise you can simply hold a spot on any list with $51.50 to my account and pay the difference at the meet or dyno day. I will list which ones i'll be attending, but will do my best to make it out to each site (SJ, UC, MV ... DC?) at least once in the next 2 weeks. (my home meet is the MVKK meet)
Pizza and Sodas will be provided, along with the good company of fellow Suby owners ... the strippers are on hold (for now).
This day will also be the official unveiling of the newly revised Vishnu Stage 3 Performance Package. You may have seen it in the shop and perhaps on the dyno. But you'll see this bad boy, in its fullest glory, on the dyno and will be drooling over the dyno plots (bibs are not included).

Chris, I know of two really good exotic dancers, but I want Shiv to devote all of his attention to the dyno when my car is on the rollers. No way can he watch these girls, formerly of Mitchell Bros. (I won't post a link to the site) in the City, and note dyno readings at the same time.

Yeah, I don't think I'll be able to concentrate on tuning if there are any girls prancing around in their birthday suit. For some reason, that stuff always manages to take priority over engine tuning
As for Link tuning, I think that will have to wait for another day. As it is, the day is going to be really long. I'd like to reserve whatever time there is for ECU reflashing.
