viper alarm install.

have any of you guys done this by yourself? i am very bad at wiring and dont evne have a solder....

or if you could recommend a shop.

alarms are not that hard to install.... what model are you installing? remote start? your car a 5 speed?

You'll need the bypass module if your car is a manual and you want to hook up the remote start.

you don't need the bypass module..... all you need to do is bypass the clutch.

If you plan on paying someone to install it at a shop, you need the module. Well, if they are ok with leaving themselves open to a lawsuit they might bypass the clutch, but a shop that careless is not one I want wiring my alarm in the first place.\

If you or a friend is wiring it, carry on! Just keep in mind that YOU are liable either way if your car jumps into traffic, parked cars, groups of children, etc, because you were too cheap to spend about $150 on the bypass module.
