Thanks to MPJ/GB for the fast install of my VF34 and injectors on Friday night. From 6pm-8:30pm, and everything is perfect (except you kept my extra coolant and put my radiator cap on backwards!!!!!!
)
After the new ECU got used to the new turbo (just a bit sluggish on the spool at first)...oh man. I think the car *might* have a little less power than the stock turbo below 3000rpm, due to the slower spooling VF34. But it's a very very minimal difference, if any.
After that point hold on! Pulling almost exactly the indicated 16.5psi is very smooth and steady. Tapers down to ~13-14psi by redline. It's nothing like the stock turbo where the fun is done by 5.5-5.8k rpms.
Anyway...just wanted to give my highest recommendations for Cobb's VF34/91 octane AccessECU. I'm eagerly awaiting their full Stage 3 map which will most likely add an intercooler and more aggressive tuning.
When is the next dyno day??? :banana:

nice! congrats on the new "fun", its good to hear that you are happy with that setup...I have been thinking about something along those lines eventually...and I am happy to hear that it performs like I had imagined. Post up again when you get your car dyno'd, I would like to see what kinds of #'s you are making.

edit: what injectors did you get? and did you get fuel rails too?

wow, sounds awesome. i'd love to get a test ride in the future when you have time. i was seriously considering the vf34 stage upgrade but i'm kinda leaning towards more suspension mods 1st.

The whistle is actually much reduced at low speeds...I kinda miss it. But as soon as this thing kicks in...I don't miss the stock turbo.
I'm curious to compare this map to the vishnu stage 2 in terms of drivability and power.
