It looks like a whole lot of fun to me, more so than driving around a track just to go fast
w3rd!..

it also looks awesome, I’ve been to the D1 DRIFT events and that by far is the best form of motorsports for spectators.. Intense and exciting from start to finish ... and unlike the WWF the damage is real

oh really? so if u asked any of the drift drivers if they had a choice to be 10 seconds faster around a course, they would all say:

"Thats a trick question! I would have to know which length of time was more fun and had the cooler car!"

But of course, speed and time isn't important, so I'm sure none of these events are timed. "WWF LYFESTYLE FO' LYFE!"

Regardless of whether they time it or not, that is really not the point now is it?

Drivng the car in a skid around a dry race track like in those videos is, by far, harder than taking a racing line.

You (and others) keep trying to compare it to racing when it is not meant to a be a substitute for racing. It is just another way to have a good time with a car and show off some good driving skills, so why do you feel the need to diss it?

Well, I certainly won't be talking trash about drifting. Its an art all in its own. Not everyone can be an artist, but all it takes is some time, patience, a bunch of critics to tell you that your work is gorgeous. So with that thought in mind, it can be applied to drifting. Just out of curiosity, how many drivers here can actually preform controlled drifts???

And that's just what I wanted to point out... Also, wouldn't it be hard to do drifts in an all wheel drive car???
