We grew up in different ways. I grew up where men were men, and if you had a problem with someone, you met up, slugged it out, and had a beer after it together, problem solved.

However I also grew up that people who sneak around behind your back or pull underhanded **** (theft, vandalism, etc...) deserve no compassion, no understanding, other than a shallow grave.

 

Old enough to be your father, hell perhaps even grandfather.

Out of curiosity, can you provide an example of a joke that is not in one way or another isn't at someone's expense, ego, humiliation, etc etc etc? A joke will always put someone on a spot...obviously whether it is in good or bad taste is a different conversation.

Btw, one must be careful not to give advice that they themselves cannot follow...You claim you don't make joke at other people's expense? You are all about permission? Funny how I remember you "joking about" (more like insulting and demeaning) my project car at the Wednesday night meet right in front of my face...even though you didn't know me, you didn't introduce yourself, you didn't bother asking anything and completely ignored me trying to correct you and tell you to relax (or you just we oblivious to realize I was the owner). Simply because it didn't fit within your narrow personal criteria of "cool". But guess what? I am mature enough to where I don't let such things bother me.

Don't recall it, but next time man up and call me on it. I am not too proud to say sorry if I am in the wrong (unlike quite a few people here). Truthfully don't remember what your talking about, but then again I am older and the memory ain't what it use to be.

Unless your the guy with the poo pipe bumper, with bird**** welds that looks like its ready to fall off if someone looks at it cross eyed. Then its a damn danger to everyone on the road and I won't apologize for calling that out.

Dude I doubt you are that much older than me and you sure as hell are not old enough to be my dad let alone my grandpa (yes i know you were referring to vlad, i can keep up). When i was a kid and immature i got into fights to solve my problems (wasn't a "men were men" thing it was a lack of knowing better) then I grew up and found that there are much more mature ways to solve problems than physical violence.
Having a beer though is still part of the problem solving ritual.
