V1 Users - San Ramon Police Dept.

I know a lot of us have turned off X and K band, because almost every cop in Cali uses Ka or laser. I have X all the way off and K on the 30 sec delay. The other day I was on 680S and there was an accident with 2 or 3 San Ramon PD cruisers. I got a huge K band signal from them. So if you are going to be driving in or through San Ramon, make sure you have K band enabled!

Main thing is to get to know the different sounds for different bands. Then use the arrows to find the threat visually.
X = Almost always automatic door / burglar alarm / other false alarm. Occasionally one of those "Your Speed Is XX" signs uses X. I turned X off on mine, pretty much worthless.
K = Around here, 99% falses, from automatic doors or "Your Speed Is". San Ramon PD uses K though. And if you go across the country you will see a lot of K. I had K on a 30 sec mute but now I am putting it back on.
Ka = Police, like 99.9% of the time. If you get a Ka warning assume it is a cop until you have passed the threat (arrows change direction).

I turned my laser detection off. The beam is too narrow. By the time you get a warning you are already busted. And it was falsing on @%@#$ GMC SUV roadwhales tail lights.
