urgent help needed! :( messed up installing avic D3
when i attached the reverse gear wire into the brown/yellow one under the passenger side kick panel, i accidently plugged the Reverse Gear wire into the ground instead of into the correct plug on the wire harness.
now my car is sputtering when i put it in gear, the gas pedal almost does nothing at all, cruise control light flasing and engine trouble light stays on.
help please! i don't know if it blew a fuse or what. i have no idea on what to do to fix this
*edit
and i've already reset the ecu. unplugged the nagative, tapped on brake a few times. i'm currently leaving it unplugged for an hour

this is why you get a professional to do it... if they screw up they pay... all you really had to do was just ground the reverse wire anywhere... and you grounded it to your ecu causing a short in the circuit... now that there is an open source of voltage going threw.. everything is messed up...

1) undo what you did ,and DONT **** with it.
2) unplug negative battery terminal.
3) press brake peddle until dash odo goes blank.
see if your **** is still broken.
