Union Landing Area - stay away and dont get state reffed.
Last night my friend was driving around the Redwood road area (in Oakland), not even going fast. He was pulled over by county sheriff for being modified. The sheriff went on to went on to tell him about the recent bull**** that has been going on over by Union Landing. Apparently the picture of his car matches the picture of another prelude, even though he says they looked nothing alike so he thought he was a suspect for a recent shooting. The sheriff state-reffed him and went on to show him several pictures of all kinds of cars at the meet up spots, evos, subies, mustangs, camaros, the whole bunch.
This is all because of the friday and saturday night street racing bull**** they have at foodmaxx and krispey kreme in union city. Lately a bunch of 15-16 second beat *** 20 year old domestics and 15 year old civics have been meeting up at foodmaxx for the last six or seven months and lately it has only been getting worse.
Street racing has always been around, but this time of year it gets worse, as the dry season approaches its end more and more people find out about the meet ups for the street races. On top of that, this time of year kids get out of highschool and have nothing to do. Lately it has been even worse with the latest hyphy movements and the younger generation obtaining drivers licenses.
Just last weekend there was a shooting in that parking lot over some gang bull****. From what I have been told, one gang saw another gang, so charged at them with hella heads, the other gang ran away. When the charging gang got to their car, they slashed the tires, threw a shopping cart through the cars window and started shooting at them as they were running away. Five to six cop cars arrived there minutes later.
Three-Four weeks there was also a street racing related incident where there was another shooting in a near by industrial area in Union City. Cops came back to the Union Landing area as people in that entire parking lot area were ordered to lay stomach-down on the ground as the cops made several arrests.

man i drive on industrial many times a day passing by that foodmax. one day i took the scooby to foodmax to get groceries and the lot was filled with wanna be gangsters in their mustangs and riced out civics. as i left i saw tons of people crowded around, i thought it was just a ghetto hayward car meet at first. there were a bunch of sloars out too.

Foodmaxx parking lot has TONS of lights that dont work, which is probably why so many meet there. UCKK has pretty much all lights working and it's easy to see whos there and what they are going.

It is very true that the *******s at Foodmaxx are giving car people a bad image on Friday/Saturday nights. The gang involvement and shooting part of the story is all false though. I've heard nothing about a shooting at Foodmaxx recently...and believe me I would have.

LOL some of that is true, but what REALLY happened is some jackass pulled a knife out and threatened someone with it. Somebody called the police. When the cops showed up nobody was cooperating so they ordered everyone onto the ground until they could figure out who did what. There were no gangs, guns, shootings, stabbings, fights, or even anyone arrested...just a bunch of idiots that drive like jerks and leave their trash there so the businesses hate them. It wasn't even Union Landing, it was Foodmaxx.
