I was just at stevens creek today because I'm acually thinking of parting out my money pit of a wagon and gettin an 07 STi. It's crazy how many are on the lot and on top of that, there are more being delivered! You will definitely be able to talk them down pretty low. I'll be doing so tomorrow =) I'll let you know how it goes and expect a part out thread very soon

lol, they start off at 10.50 and you get a raise pretty quick once you get certified for more things. If you're near Mt. View we are greatly in need of employees. We have people workin 50+ hours and are still usually 10+ cars down when we close on any given day. I'm hoping to make some money off the parts I sell and just finance it. I also have a bit of stock that will help me out

Okay, there's no way in hell anyones getting any 06-07 STi for less than invoice right now.. The Subaru dealers are going to be without STi's for sale for almost 4 months until January when the 08 Hatch STi is released, which means if people want STi's now, they're going to have to pay alot...

With a shortage in STi's, dealers will get more than usual for them. So... getting one for less than $33-34k OTD is going to be hard.... yadideye?

Steven's Creek is known for doing that, they can do it when they sell high volume and get kick backs from Subaru in the form of Dealer Cash. This way they can advertise or sell a few cheaper in order to get pull in customers via advertising or word of mouth.

You're very lucky

It's doable at some times, but right now the dealer's going to get the STi-buyer by the ***** since the quantity is very limited... simple supply and demand for the next four months... that's why the dealers have stopped dealer trading them. They want to stock up so they can make the money when other dealers don't have them.

This would be AMAZING if anyone could get one for less than $30k OTD right now.

Maybe... if the dealer had Dealer Cash which allowed them to still "make" the same amount.
