What did you guys pay for your 06/07 sti? Since the 08 wrx's are out... will it be possible to get an 07 for under $30k before taxes? invoice is around $31,800 i think.

are any new 06 sti's still out there?

Stevens creek, as awful as they are, can be haggled with to a very good price. If you got skillz, try it out!

I dont see why its a bad thing. Why not take advantage of the fact they are volume dealers to score great deals?

I basically paid invoice OTD for my evo from capitol

Yes, if you are careful and really know how to negotiate. Not everyone is good with words and being super careful when it comes to signing their documents. I remember seeing many complaints in those areas, which are part of the reasons people hate them, besides from their attitude. Don't get me wrong, I got my first suby there as well.

You know which part of the negotiation was the funniest? I was on the phone with my mom sitting in front of the sales guy. We were speaking in Chinese and I don't know what the heck was going through that guy's mind. But he just kept on dropping the pricing as in look into his eye and talking to my mom. I just telling my mom that I was at the dealership and some miscellaneous stuff and nothing more. Since I was paying for the car, she had no say in terms of price and negotiation. The look on the sales guy was priceless.

The funny part about my deal, was I did it all in a 30minute phone call. I basically just went in to inspect the car and sign the papers

i really doubt you can get 30k otd ... that'd mean they'd be selling the car for 7.7k under msrp.
