They're making it look that way but they're still talking about him fighting.
So far I'm not overly impressed with any of the fighters.
The black dude last night... can't remember his name. He had a chance to do serious damage from side control. I agree with Rampage on that, unless you've got a decent JJ game or a super dominate mount then just stay in side control and do the damage you can. You land enough elbows and even a noob can turn side control into a tap.
Looked like he got donked a little in the scramble and gave up. He literally set himself up for that choke. He just waited to be tapped out. Gave up.
The dude that won didn't look all that good either. Got taken down quick. Standup didn't look as great as they were saying. All he did was take a give me submission.
so far..... not impressed with anyone. Hell the most impressive guy so far has been kimbo and he lossed because he's not an MMA fighter.

Bump... b/c I finally was able to catch up on the last 2 episodes.
Y'all are right about the actual cage action being sub-par to this point. Only guy that hasn't fought yet that I'm curious about is Junk. And I pray that the quarters & semis have some decent performances.
The ONLY reason I gave the series a slot on the DVR is b/c of Rampage... whether he's mouthing off to "Sugar" or just offering his gems of commentary (i.e. after Kimbo's fight vs. Big Country, "How you gonna get the Moon off ya? The Moon!"
). But from last week's episode, how could you not find how horribly hilarious everything he's done to poor ******* is? I felt bad but it was damn entertaining, eh?

yeah this season is total garbage. nothing but fatasses laying on people. doesn't seem like any REAL talent. VERY VERY few of these guys actually make it to being in the main card.
