P0300 = Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire Detected

Could be a bad coil pack on your cylinder 4 or a bad plug.

P0448 is probably related to your gas cap, make sure has a nice tight seal, otherwise pressure will leak from the tank can cause cel.

If you only got the misfire that one time you should be ok. I got a P0304 many months back after I started my car and was letting it idle. I cleared the cel and it hasn't come back since.

If you are getting constant misfires then I would def not be driving the car till you can fix it.

they are ALWAYS busy, but it's worth the wait. You aren't by any chance running shell gas in your car right now are you?

hmmm, then it's most likely not a bad tank of gas...

Give LIC a call..better service from multiple experiences with both shops. LIC will also fit you in, and will work around your schedule. GST is like well...we are busy, so show up at this time otherwise you are SOL. The guys at LIC know what they are doing :RockOn - not mine:

I try to only fill up with 76 91 if I can help it. The only bad tank I have ever gotten was 76 though. It made my ECU go into retard mode and I had no boost until all that gas was done and I was a quarter tank into the next one. Finally it came back to normal (I learned later about the ecu reset )

My point is even the "best" can have shat.

after talking with this guy last night, we pretty much figured out it wasn't gas...most likely a misfire/electrical problem..
