That was great!!! I'm sick of hearing how Lidell and his potbelly was the greatest UFC fighter to step in the ring.

Awesome fight, good times!

I know!

I honestly feel you can't look at UFC as a whole. There was Ultimate Fighting Championship: No rules, all kinds of fighters... Gracie, Shamrock, Severn, Abbot.

And then there's UFC, Dana White style, with an *** load of rules, and a WWE style showing and following. Now they have better fighters back, real MMA fighters. Maybe UFC can redeem some of the greatness it started back in the early 90s.

Whether you like it or not, if it wasn't for Dana White, mma would still be a fringe sport with very little interest outside of people who were involved with it. Without the rules and Nevada gaming commission to give the sport some legitimacy to the public, the UFC probably wouldn't be around anymore. Dana White said he bought the company for some insanely low amount, like $1 mil because the previous owners were pretty sure it was on it's last legs. Matches were being banned in states across the US because it was viewed as too barbaric. If UFC hadn't changed, there wouldn't have been a way to market it to the general public. It wouldn't be popular like it is today and there definitely wouldn't be a thread in a car forum about some UFC match. Now I wonder when Fedor will come over to the UFC and kick everyone's ***.

Hey Gagan,

I know your feelings about Chuck, but how did you feel about the fight between Tito and Chuck?

I was sooooo f'ing happy to see Chuck shut that bleached haired bafoon up! I'd love to watch Fedor jack either one of them up.

Does anyone remember the fight between Fedor and Jackson? Where Jackson body slams Fedor, then fedor gets up like nothing happened and submits Jackson? lol

Hope you're not saying all black guys look alike, because it was Randleman not Jackson.

That was an awesome fight. Randleman must've been thinking "this fight's over" and then, all of a sudden he's gotta tap!!

I was kind of rooting for Liddell, but mainly just wanted to see a good fight.
I'm not unhappy at all with the outcome. Jackson earned the belt!
And he's definitely very entertaining.

Dude, that's my POINT!

I was watching this **** when I was like, what... 10/11 yrs old! It was exclusive, and not mainstream, and I loved it.

I hate all this media, and the only reason it got sanctioned and put back on TV was because of Money and connections. Dana isn't the only promoter with those attributes, so it could've been done by a lot of people. There is no genius on his part.

UFC was vale tudo, much of that has been gone the last 5 years. the last 5 years it's more like WWE than a MMA event with all that redneck bull**** drama they throw out. This is precisely why I watch K1 and Pride much more often than UFC.

Two difference weight classes, i think you are thinking of Kevin Randleman. I'm not a fan of Randleman at all, so I was happy Fedor won.

I dislike both Chuck and Tito, so I don't really care for those fights.

For those who like to see the Iceman get knocked around then you should watch the first fight between him and Jackson in Pride 4 years ago because Chuck got worked in that fight and it is funnier to watch cause the fight lasted longer.
