w00t! I'm so happy! Missed the fight but glad to hear the news.

Can you break the fight down into what happened? Brief summery would be appreciated.

 

1st round, liddell hits rampage with a body shot, he counters with a right hook that just catches liddell on the cheek that knocks him down.. rampage gets on top and lands a few solid blows and the ref brakes up the fight.. end of story

 

rampage catches liddell with a right cross on the jaw. liddell falls down on the mat and rampage gets side control while liddell has somewhat of a guard up. rampage throws some right elbows and punches and liddell goes limp. ref stops the match and rampage gets the title. all in the first round

 

Was it a pretty good call on the refs part? One where Chuck can't whine and cry later?

 

Once Chuck sees the tape, he'll know Big John made a rightous stop.
He was out, only briefly, but he was out.
Post fight with Rogan, He said he made a mistake and got caught.

Daaaaaaaamn! That hit was so fast you could barely see it! He did get knocked the out for a second there... you could see that he was totally defenseless at one point.

 

I was yelling at the top of my lungs and jumping all over the place.


Seeing all the Liddel supporters, all those celebs rooting for liddel, the fans booing Jackson.. . everything just came together with that one punch, and it makes this just all that much more sweet.

Joe Rogan betted wrong. Randy was right on the money! (again)

Yup, that was sweet towatch as well. But I didn't expect Crocopto lose that fight, and I didn't find him a good match for Randy anyways.

The camera angle for that punch was like in the movies, where it never makes contact. I wonder if there's a better angle where we can see Rampage's fist knocking Lidell out in slowmo.

 

Is it just me, or did it look like Chucky was running the whole fight?


And as far as Rampage v. Cro Cop, i love the Croatian, he's a great fighter. But Rampage caked him, plain and simple..... should have brought the frosting too

 

the funniest part of the fight is when liddel is laying on the floor hella dazed saying "what happened, what happened?" you got knocked the **** out!!!!!
